Words of Sheikh / Nasser Mohammed Al-Obaid (May Allah have mercy on him)
Founder of Al-Taawin Medical Complexes
The founder was born in the year 1359 Hijri in the village of Al-Yamama in Al-Kharj Governorate, from a simple family whose profession was farming. He was the third among his siblings. He completed his primary and secondary education in Al-Yamama, then studied at the Industrial Secondary Institute in Riyadh, specializing in electricity. During his studies, he worked at the Ministry of Information in the evening and studied in the morning. After graduation, he worked at the Electricity Company in Riyadh, then moved to the General Organization for Military Industries. He was sent to Germany and France for further studies and returned with scientific and practical knowledge. However, the job was not his ambition, and he had a desire to engage in business. He started a contracting company called Al-Bannah Contracting and began construction projects based on his scientific and practical expertise. Later, he ventured into business with a risky move that many advisors predicted would fail. He bought Al-Taawin clinic, which was suffering from significant losses, but with the help of God, his parents prayers, and his determination, he was able to revive the establishment to its current state. He passed away on the 26th of Ramadan, 1431 Hijri.
